 Acquisition of Real Estate Adjacent to Tohoku Plant

 

CKD Corporation (Headquarters: Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture, President: Katsuhito Okuoka) has acquired the land and buildings (hereinafter referred to as “the Real Estate”) of a plant adjacent to our Tohoku Plant (Ohira-mura, Kurokawa-gun, Miyagi Prefecture).
The Company is making investments to build its business foundation for the future with consideration to medium- to long-term growth and to improve corporate value. In anticipation of a growing demand in the semiconductor field, this property will be rapidly expanded as a production plant for component products for semiconductor manufacturing equipment with the aim of strengthening the production system.

Location: 2-21, 22 Matsunodaira, Ohira-mura, Kurokawa-gun, Miyagi
Land area: Approx. 71,000 ㎡ (Approx. 2 times the area of the current Tohoku Plant)
Building area: Approx. 18,000 ㎡
Date of acquisition of real estate: December 23, 2022
Scheduled start of operation: Fiscal 2023
Total investment amount: Approx. 7.2 billion yen
